Welcome to the home page of the baronial newsletter, The Mudpuppy! This page is not intended to be an online version of The Mudpuppy. Rather it is to be a display for the beautiful artwork and useful articles created by members of the Barony that have been published in The Mudpuppy.

Other chroniclers are welcome to re-print these pieces in their own newsletters. All that we ask is that you credit the original author, and provide the author with a copy of the newsletter in which the piece appeared.

There are a number of sources that offer copyright free or "re-printable with permission" clipart and articles useful for SCA newsletters or web pages.

Subscription Information
The Mudpuppy can be sent to you via e-mail, or postal mail. Contact the chronicler to request an e-mail subscription. For a paper subscription, please send a check or money order for $12, made out to "SCA, Inc - The Barony of Settmour Swamp", to the chronicler.

Submission Guidelines
Although The Mudpuppy has worked with many famous artists and writers, we encourage new talent to seek us out. We ask that artists and writers stick to subjects concerning the medieval world or reenactment societies. We cannot pay artists or writers for their work (we are a nonprofit organization), but we will credit work and may even post them in the "best of" section. Submissions can be sent to: chronicler@settmourswamp.eastkingdom.org
