Merchanting info

The hall opens at 8:30am for setup, please plan on arriving as early as possible.

Indoor merchant cleanup must be completed by 5:30 pm, so we can set up for the feast.

Mudthaw merchanting space always sells out, so we recommend you reserve a space early. Fees can be refunded if you cannot attend, see our Refund Policy.

We can provide 8' banquet tables in some areas, and 6' x 2' tables in other areas. Please contact the merchant coordinator to discuss your layout requirements, if you are bringing non-table displays, or if you would prefer to be outdoors (weather permitting), so we can make the best use of our space.

To reserve a merchant space

Please send a merchanting fee of $5, along with your reservation for the event, to the Reservations Clerk: Edmund Patterson, c/o Chris Lotano, 129 Ledden Terrace, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Please include:

Modern and SCA names of each attendee, and ages of minors
Your business name
Your space requirements
Type of reservations you are making
Contact info (mailing address, and e-mail address/phone number)
Proof of membership, if a member
a Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope, or e-mail address, to receive an Express Check-in letter

Adult reservations are $10 for the day, $18 for the feast. (See the full fee schedule). Make checks payable to SCA, Inc - Barony of Settmour Swamp.

We will be printing a directory of Mudthaw merchants, so please also include a brief description of your merchandise, and your business website or e-mail address.
