Be it known that at the event of Mudthaw in the Barony of Settmour
Swamp on the 29th of March, being also the occassion of the East Kingdom
Arts & Sciences Championship, in addition to all other events and
tournaments, there will be the first Annual Baroness' Choice Subtlety
Contest. This competition will take place during dinner at high table
and all entries will be admired and tasted by the visiting royalty, our
own King and Queen and the Baron and Baroness of Settmour Swamp, prize
to be awarded by Baroness Rhiannon and leftovers to be joyously shared
by all partaking of the feast.
This being the initial contest of this sort, there will be no preferred
theme, however, presentations will be highly regarded that use period
methods and ingredients. Also, the Baroness may look more favorably
upon those contestants who keep in mind that her persona is late 12th c.
Norman-Celtic and she loves Unicorns and Dragons.
