Teahouse of the White Crane
Menu
|
Generally, a Japanese meal is served all at once in a multitude of dishes,
however, typical SCAdian feast gear consists of a mug, one bowl, one plate, a knife
and a spoon. So as not to have our guests incur unusual expenses for feast gear
they may use only once, our solution is to spread the food over a large number of courses
throughout the evening. Presentation
in this way prolongs the meal - which is a wonderful digestive aid,
encourages mingling - which is what we want you to do, and allows the kitchen
slaves to prepare at a more leisurely pace.
Many among us have sensitivities and/or allergic reactions to a wide variety
of foods. Keeping this in mind, be assured the freshest of ingredients
will be purchased and, we'll try as best we can to insure that little or no
preservatives will be used in the preparation of this menu. No MSG will be used.
