February 23, 2002 Over 100 Vikings arrived at the mead hall with their shares of this season's raids (10 "gold coins" and 1 ivory piece each). The gold coins were used for wagering on various games and feats of strength. During the arm-wrestling, the bets were really flying! By the end of the evening Fai'lenn Dhubh had become the richest Viking, with Cuthbad and Victoria a close second. Each of them had over 200 gold pieces! The ivory pieces were used by everyone to indicate their favorite object on the arts and sciences display table. The most-favored item was an embroidered tunic, made by Gwenhwyfar Telynores. When Prince Darius and Princess Roxane visited the table, they left several of their Golden Sunburst tokens to recognize artisans of note, including Gwenhwyfar, and Ragnarr, who had made leather scale armor.
