Covid-19 Update

Pennsic XLIX has unfortunately been cancelled.

Information

The Settmour Swamp encampment at Pennsic welcomes any citizens of the Barony, as well as friends, neighbors, and other fellow-travelers. The camp is managed by camp stewards, usually a team of 2-3 people, who arrange infrastructure, layout, budget, daily tasks, and all that.

If you plan to join the baronial encampment, please make sure to look over the items on this page. With a camp that’s usually 70-90 people strong, we need everyone to work from the same assumptions.

205 Currie Rd
Slippery Rock, PA 16057

The Barony of Settmour Swamp is located on Brewers' Road, block E12 (map).

Directions from Troll:

  • Continue forward on Currie Road
  • Turn right onto Chandler's Road
  • Merge onto Brewer's Road, passing Bone's Nose on the left, but not passing Howards Fenway on the right.
  • Settmour Swamp is on the left, immediately after House Von Draken.

This site has not yet been measured against the checklist of the Kingdom Accessibility Porter. For additional concerns, please contact the Event Steward listed to the right.

Anyone in camp in that time is expected to help set up camp (and are thus excused one breakdown shift).

The Barony marches as a group in the East Kingdom procession. Wear green, black, and white if you can.

Thursday is Swamp Night, so naturally, we have court just beforehand.

A meeting to get everyone’s thoughts on what worked and what didn’t in camp this year; make notes for improvements next year; and talk about breakdown.

EVERYONE is expected to help.
