The Settmour Swamp encampment at Pennsic welcomes any citizens of the Barony, as well as friends, neighbors, and other fellow-travelers. The camp is managed by camp stewards, usually a team of 2-3 people, who arrange infrastructure, layout, budget, daily tasks, and all that.

If you plan to join the baronial encampment, please make sure to look over the items on this page. With a camp that’s usually 70-90 people strong, we need everyone to work from the same assumptions!

  • Pre-register for Pennsic, choosing "Barony of Settmour Swamp" as the group you are camping with...making sure you've registered enough space for your tent(s).
  • If it's your first time camping with us,  reach out to the camp stewards to let them know you're coming (and ask any questions you may have).
  • Fill out the camp form.  This helps us place your tent, get you on the chore chart, and so on.
  • Pay your camp fee (currently $25) - you can do this onsite.

The Barony marches as a group in the East Kingdom procession. Wear green and white if you can.

A hangout (Mimosa Monday!) so that people in camp can meet each other. We’re a big camp.

Come one, and come all! Come and join the beatified boozers as they relive the halcyon days of college so long, long ago. Sport your pride, boast your best university wear and see if your beer pong skills can match the might of the gods themselves! Fret not if competition is not your forte, for we’ve a night full of grand revelry and entertainment in store for all, from fiery dancers to merry singers and plenty of inhibitions in between! So dress up and come on down, for only one question remains - are you a bad enough dude to party down with divinity?

A meeting to get everyone’s thoughts on what worked and what didn’t in camp this year; make notes for improvements next year; and talk about breakdown.

EVERYONE is expected to help.
