Let Leonardo da Vinci’s journey bring you to the Barony of Settmour Swamp this May!  Pursue his quest through time and mythology!  Come spin tales into the night, steeped in the spirits of nature, the joy of friends, the fellowship of combat and the spice of competition.  This year, the Barony hosts our Thirty Seventh Quest for Wit and Wisdom May 27-30, 2022, at the campground of the Clinton Elks in Pittstown, New Jersey.

Leonardo Da Vinci has DONE IT!  By combining his knowledge of engineering and the secret accomplishments of Alchemist Heinrich Agrippa, the great Da Vinci has broken the bounds of Time and Space and created a Theoretical Interdimensional Movement Engine (T.I.M.E.  machine!) Inspired to see if legends are reality, Leonardo summons forth from the ether the most famous two-some of Norse mythology – Loki and Thor – who promptly break the new invention and scatter its pieces along with the great heroes of Antiquity, thus fouling history.

Leo needs your help!  You, the bravest and cleverest Heroes of the Swamp, must assist the Legends of the Past to survive stories that are not their own.  Will you help Beowulf solve the Sphinx’s riddle? Can you assist Gilgamesh in cleaning the Stables of King Augeas? Can you help Robin and Marian through the Labyrinth? ….And help Leonardo Da Vinci collect the missing parts and send the Heroes home!

Baronial Championships:
This year the Quest for Wit and Wisdom again includes the opportunities to compete in order to represent our wise and witty Baron, Orlando Sforza and his talented and hardworking consort, Baroness Charis d’Accipiter.  See the Activities section for details.
